Visiting Redeem Christian Church of God York (RCCG York) for the First Time

Visiting any church for the very first time would make anyone nervous. Where to go? What to wear? What time to show up? What's here for my kids? What can I expect? We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Living Spring York will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home!

What Should I Expect for My Children?

There is something special for "children of every age!"

KidsZone runs during service hours

  • Well-staffed nursery - children under three years
  • Kids Sunday school - 3 to 12 years of age
  • Youth Department - 13  to 18 years of age

These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

What's on Schedule for the Adults?

"Prayer" starts at 9:30 am.

"Sunday School" starts at 9:50 am. It's an informal class where we give in-depth biblical. This is an excellent time to ask questions in relation to the word of God and get to connect with the church brothers and sisters.

"Service" starts at 10:30 am, beginning with praise and worship. In this service, you will be blessed with enthusiastic congregational singing and beautiful special music. The music is always followed by a clear and helpful Bible message.

We do recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to allow for parking and seating. Offerings are taken at the end of service, as our guests we want you to feel no obligation to give.

Are There Other Service Times?

  • Monthly "Bible Study" on the 9th of every month 9 pm - 10 pm (Dial In 717-251-1272)
  •  Every last day of the month, "Command the Month", a telephone program where we spiritually take control of the new month between 11:30 pm -12:30 am (Dial In 717-251-1272)
  • House Fellowships occur monthly - for more information contact church leaders

How Should I Dress?

We want you to be comfortable during your visit to Living Spring York.

Our pastors and teachers, as well as many of our church family, wear the traditional "Sunday best."
